New finishing: partial UV coating on your folding boxes

Since December 2022, you can also apply a partial UV coating to our custom folding boxes. This involves applying a thicker, transparent gloss varnish to the areas you want on the cardboard of your folding box. This type of print varnish is tactile and raised. So you can now create a tactile surface in your design. To learn how to create the print data for your folding boxes with partial UV coating, see our instructions.

Full-surface varnishing of your folding box is also possible. Here, the entire outside of your printed folding box is provided with the glossy varnish. This not only protects your folding box, but also strengthens the material and gives it a high-gloss finish.
