Folding boxes and packaging with imprint soon even cheaper

WirliebenDruck is not only the fastest online printer for custom printed folding boxes, but is also investing in new machines and ways to cut costs. In addition to our current lowest price guarantee, which undercuts every competitor's offer by 5%, the online print shop is investing in new machines that can not only punch packaging in the future, but also cut it by laser.

This cardboard cutting technique is already used by many packaging printers. With this method, punching tools made of wood and metal no longer have to be made, because a laser cuts the individual packages out of the printed sheet."We thought long and hard about whether to make this investment, because this method of packaging processing is not quite as high-quality as die-cutting a box, but it is much more flexible, faster and cheaper. It is not yetclear whether our customers will then be able to choose between the two methods in the folding box configurator, or whether only smaller runs will be produced in this way," says Jan Simmerling, founder and CEO of WirliebenDruck. The new "PaperOne 7000 Origami" laser machine will be purchased before the end of September and installed in the machine park.

WirliebenDruck is not only specialized in packaging print, but also in label print and food packaging print. For 10 years WirliebenDruck has been supplying well-known Amazon brands of food supplements, cosmetics and other products as well as the pharmaceutical industry."We are and will remain the largest printer of folding cartons and packaging on the European market, and with this investment we will open up new opportunities," says Simmerling.
